We are a family-owned small business that started in 2016. We pride ourselves in our growth through word-of-mouth and referrals because we care deeply about our community. Landscaping is not our job, but our passion, and it shows through our work. Meet our team members: Angela & Jason.
Angela Applegate-Herwig
Angela was born in Blue Mounds, WI, and moved to the Portage area when she was four years old. She worked with her family from a young age at the nursery business that they ran for over 40 years. From there, Angela discovered her love for plants and landscape design, and started her own business Nature's Way to make her beloved community an even more beautiful place, one backyard at a time.
Jason Herwig
Jason was born and raised in Pardeeville, WI, and grew up working construction in the family business. While he worked on building new homes and remodels, he mastered skillsets including laying concrete, retaining walls, machine operation, and landscaping. After getting married, Jason and Angela combined their love of nature and landscape work, and started Nature's Way together.
